Managing stress is important for many reasons. Stress over long periods of time can increase someone’s risk of other mental health conditions. If we can manage our stress levels, we can increase our emotional stability, regulate our mood and other discomforts like irritability, agitation and relationship tension.

 Getting support to manage stress can improve your general cognitive functions. This is due to prolonged stress can affect your memory recall, decision-making and concentration. Leading to an increase in day-to-day function at work and at home.
