Our Practice

Our Approach

At Hue, we adopt a humanistic and existential approach to therapy. Our services focus on helping people navigate their internal shades in a place where they are free to explore their emotional needs while sharing their vulnerabilities and experiences.

Our practice is centred on a holistic, strengths-based and transpersonal counselling methodology. This approach aims to support clients in achieving their goals and developing the confidence and insight needed to navigate a current state of being, past experiences and life-changing events.

It involves expanding each individual’s internal resources and equipping them with practical skills and strategies that are designed to address and support their needs.

Meet Kerime

My name is Kerimé Abay (she/her) and I am the founder of Hue Therapy. For as long as I can remember, I have been drawn to understanding the relationship between thoughts, emotions and behaviours that exist within all of us. I held a special interest in how these manifest during childhood/adolescence and how they shape our development and the unique formation of the self.

This curiosity led me to complete a Bachelor of Social Science, majoring in Youth Work. I specialised in working with young people, many of whom were from disadvantaged backgrounds and marginalised communities. I then spent six years working for both Government and Non-for-Profit Organisations where I provided forensic therapeutic intervention and case management. This work involved navigating the complexities of the social and judicial systems within Australia, whilst maintaining a person-centred and trauma-informed approach. What I found most rewarding was counselling young people and their families to navigate relationships with themselves, others, their communities and the natural environment.

Inspired by this work experience, I completed a Masters Degree in Counselling, after which I took on a new role as a Family and Relationship Therapist. I’m a registered practitioner in both Australia and Denmark

I wholeheartedly believe helping people cultivate self compassion and a greater connection to self is key to healing and maintaining healthy relationships.

The philosophy and values at the core of Hue Therapy reflect my personal and professional experience and guide my approach to connecting with and supporting individuals.

Meet Florencia

Hue Therapy Therapist Florencia

My name is Florencia Cinquemani, I am a Spanish/English-speaking psychologist from Argentina with a Master’s degree in Psychoanalysis and a specialisation in Art Therapy.  In my practice, I emphasise the uniqueness of each individual, recognising that no two therapeutic journeys are the same. My approach is deeply collaborative, creating a space where clients feel seen, heard, and actively engaged in their own process of self-discovery.

My professional background includes five years of supervised practice in the public health sector of Buenos Aires, where I worked with individuals, families, and groups. During this time, I gained a deep understanding of the complex and multifaceted nature of mental health. I witnessed the full spectrum of psychological experiences—from the most vulnerable and delicate moments requiring hospitalisation, to the gradual process of reintegration into daily life, social relationships, and work. This experience reinforced my belief in the importance of individualised care and the profound resilience of each person’s journey.

Since relocating to Denmark, I have been providing counselling sessions to an organisation that supports the socially vulnerable population, helping individuals navigate cultural transitions, identity shifts, and personal growth. Through this experience, I have come to deeply understand the complexity and emotional sensitivity of moving across cultures and languages. Yet, I also recognise that each person’s journey is unique, shaped by their own experiences and challenges. I am here to support you in making sense of your own path, at your own pace.

Meet Anna

Hue Therapy Therapist | Anna

My main area of experience is couples therapy, where I help partners move from disconnection to closeness through Emotion Focused Couple Therapy (EFT). I’m currently in the process of becoming certified in EFT, and will receive my Authorization as a Psychologist in Denmark this summer.

Alongside my work with couples, I’ve worked in a range of settings—from supporting socially disadvantaged individuals at a Danish NGO, to teaching psychology in high school, assisting university students with psychological disabilities, and working as a psychologist in a boarding school. These experiences have shaped my approach and deepened my respect for each person’s unique story.

I’m fascinated by the human mind and the role relationships play in our emotional well-being. As Sue Johnson beautifully puts it: "Suffering is inevitable, but suffering alone is intolerable." I strive to create a safe, validating space where you don’t have to face things alone.

Meet Joanna

Hue Therapy Therapist Joanna outside Our Osterbro Space

My name is Joanna Niemczycka (she/her). I am an English and Polish-speaking psychologist specialising in trauma and neuropsychology, and an integrative psychotherapist.

As an honest and empathetic clinician—highly intuitive and respectful of lived experience—my practice reflects these values.

I aim to offer a supportive environment where we can explore your feelings, thoughts, and self-understanding in a way that fosters acceptance and healing.

Previously, I worked as a Functional / Integrative Medicine Practitioner, supporting individuals with chronic illness, autoimmune conditions, and unexplained symptoms. This shaped my understanding of the mind-body connection and strengthened my belief that healing is non-linear and deeply personal. Witnessing the power of the mind and my clients’ journeys led me to pursue psychology.

I take an eclectic approach to therapy, drawing from a variety of methods and traditions—including mindfulness, somatic awareness, DBT (a practical approach for emotional regulation), and psychedelic integration. This flexibility allows us to shape the process around what resonates most with you.

I'd like to invite you to engage openly in the process so we can create a path that feels truly yours.

The individuals I work with come from diverse backgrounds, including those who are neurodivergent or exploring their unique cognitive, emotional, or neurodevelopmental experiences.

Meet Sabrina

Hue Therapy Therapist Sabrina outside Our Osterbro Space

The common denominator throughout my experiences has always been a mix of curiosity, collaboration, support, and clear communication. I believe in energy, our first language, and the importance of it, especially when we work together during sessions.

As I believe in energy, the relationship between client and therapist is crucial, and I strive and live to support your place in this world and your growth. As Jung said, “…we don’t heal alone,” and as Camus said, “I am here to walk alongside you.” I strive towards a holistic approach regarding body, emotions, thoughts, and I also welcome soul and spirituality to be a subject that is welcomed within my sessions.

My name is Sabrina Sofie (she/her). I’m a 35-year-old Greenlandic/Iranian with a Danish upbringing from out-of-home placements and residential care. I’m a Danish/English-speaking psychotherapist (MPF) with many years of experience from the fast-paced field of fashion.
