My name is Joanna Niemczycka (she/her).I am an English and Polish-speaking psychologist specializing in trauma and neuropsychology, and an integrative psychotherapist.
As an honest and empathetic clinician—highly intuitive and respectful of lived experience—my practice reflects these values.
My aim is to offer a supportive environment where we can explore your feelings, thoughts, and self-understanding in a way that fosters acceptance and healing.
Previously, I worked as a Functional / Integrative Medicine Practitioner, supporting individuals with chronic illness, autoimmune conditions, and unexplained symptoms. This shaped my understanding of the mind-body connection and strengthened my belief that healing is non-linear and deeply personal. Witnessing the power of the mind and my clients’ journeys led me to pursue psychology.
Joanna's Approach
I take an eclectic approach to therapy, drawing from a variety of methods and traditions—including mindfulness, somatic awareness, DBT (a practical approach for emotional regulation), and psychedelic integration. This flexibility allows us to shape the process around what resonates most with you.
I invite you to engage openly in the process so we can create a path that feels truly yours.
The individuals I work with come from diverse backgrounds, including those who are neurodivergent, or exploring their unique cognitive, emotional, or neurodevelopmental experiences.

- Relocation and cultural transitions – Navigating the emotional impact of moving between cultures, adjusting to new environments, and finding belonging.
- Trauma and emotional pain – Working through difficult or distressing experiences at a pace that feels safe and respectful, and restoring a sense of security.
- Improving relationship dynamics – Exploring patterns in your closest relationships, building communication skills, and fostering deeper connection
- Navigating identity and major life transitions – Exploring who you are, who you’re becoming, and how to move through periods of change with intention and care.
