About Florencia

Florencia Cinquemani
Psychologist | Art Therapist
(BA Psychology & Master in Psychoanalysis)

My name is Florencia Cinquemani, I am a Spanish/English-speaking psychologist from Argentina with a Master’s degree in Psychoanalysis and a specialisation in Art Therapy.  In my practice, I emphasise the uniqueness of each individual, recognising that no two therapeutic journeys are the same. My approach is deeply collaborative, creating a space where clients feel seen, heard, and actively engaged in their own process of self-discovery.

My professional background includes five years of supervised practice in the public health sector of Buenos Aires, where I worked with individuals, families, and groups. During this time, I gained a deep understanding of the complex and multifaceted nature of mental health. I witnessed the full spectrum of psychological experiences—from the most vulnerable and delicate moments requiring hospitalisation, to the gradual process of reintegration into daily life, social relationships, and work. This experience reinforced my belief in the importance of individualised care and the profound resilience of each person’s journey.

Since relocating to Denmark, I have been providing counselling sessions to an organisation that supports the socially vulnerable population, helping individuals navigate cultural transitions, identity shifts, and personal growth. Through this experience, I have come to deeply understand the complexity and emotional sensitivity of moving across cultures and languages. Yet, I also recognise that each person’s journey is unique, shaped by their own experiences and challenges. I am here to support you in making sense of your own path, at your own pace.

Florencia's Approach

I specialize in supporting individuals experiencing profound life transitions—whether external, internal, or both. My practice is rooted in psychoanalysis and existential therapy, creating a space for deep self-exploration, authenticity, and transformation.

Depending on the needs of each client, I integrate:

  •  Lacanian & Psychodynamic Psychoanalysis – A space for reflection, self-awareness, and exploring the unconscious.

  •  Art Therapy – Using creative expression as a tool for processing emotions and personal discovery.

  •  Holistic Practices – Incorporating mindfulness, yoga, and meditation techniques when beneficial.

I believe that therapy is not about finding quick solutions but about embracing one’s unique journey with self-compassion and curiosity. Through meaningful dialogue and exploration, I help individuals navigate transitions, redefine their identities, and build a deeper understanding of themselves.

What Can We Address

I work with individuals facing a variety of personal and emotional challenges, including:

  •  Relocation & Cultural Transitions – Adjusting to new environments, languages, and cultural identities.

  •  Gender, Sexuality & Relationship Changes – Exploring identity, relationship dynamics, and self-acceptance.

  •  Loss & Grief – Navigating emotional pain, bereavement, and life-altering transitions.

  •  Life Purpose & Vocation – Gaining clarity on career paths, personal aspirations, and self-direction.

  •  Developmental Transitions – Supporting individuals through adolescence, midlife shifts, and aging.

Each person’s journey is unique, and together, we will explore your experiences in a way that fosters deeper understanding, resilience, and personal growth.
